ARTIST NOTES: I once read about an aboriginal kid who was told he was playing too roughly with the local white kids - his mother advised him to 'treat them gentle, like moonlight on the skin'. I love the story & the phrase & express them in this painting.
I'm a retired industrial chemist (2018), and have several interests: travel, kayaking the bay, making red wine, photography, painting, pottery, collecting aboriginal art - all good hobbies. My own art style (I like to think) is 'quirky' and as I get more proficient with digital photography I hope to push my photography in a similar direction.
