ARTIST BIO

                                                                    ARTIST BIO :  DIANA MORRIS.

I am a self taught artist,  and blessed with a God given natural  talent.  I was born in Melbourne, Vic. Australia, and work mainly in oils,  I have been painting for approx. 20 years,  after a friend, kindly gave me 6 tubes of paint to play with.

My talent as a natural artist, wasn't discovered until 2000, when I entered an art show and went on to win that same art show,  as 1st prize in oils, 4 years running.  Then, exibiting at various other art shows with great success.

All winning 1st prize in oils,  respectively along with my paintings,  Spring Time Flowers, winning Peoples Choice, and Deer Woman winning 3rd prize oils.

My goal, like many artists, is to strive for perfection, regardless of whether it is an original or reproduction.  In this case, I have released some limited editions, in Remastered Images on canvas, numbered and signed, and highlighted.  The Remastered Images are for sale at a much lower price compared with the original canvas.  Currently, RMI's are available only,for the paintings of - Night Fire,  Out Of The Blue, and Spring Time Flowers.

I live near my family in Belgrave (& The Basin ).  Since being a Dance Tutor for 5 years with my own Dance School in Line Dancing,  I am now retired, and my enjoyment and passion is now my hobby of oil painting.
