ARTIST NOTES: Visting the Old Walled town of Dubrovnik in Croatia is an unique experience. Walking on the wall that surrounds the town, this scene of the harbour came into view . The confusion of moored boats between the coming and going of others, all surrounded by the old town wall and buildings presented a scene that was too picturesque to miss capturing and painting.

Geoff enjoys the challenge of using watercolours ‚ trying to achieve works that are free and impressionistic ‚ rather than detailed expressions . He admires the works of the leading Australian water colourists including David Taylor , Ross Paterson and the works of Harold Herbert, Alvaro Castanet and Clive Sinclair.
