Ron Morgan was first encouraged to put paint to canvas by the beautiful scenery he witnessed whilst he travelled the South Island of New Zealand in a work capacity. He was transferred to Australia in the 1980s but did not continue with his art. \r\nHe took up art again some 6 years ago after his retirement and move to the Mornington Penninsula.He gets his inspiration from the Australian Landscape and the influences he gets from the Artful Dodgers Group and it\'s Teacher, local Professional Artist Terry Hadler . \r\nRon has sold his works, both Landscape and Contemporary at Camberwell,Brighton,Mount Eliza, Hobson Bay, Rosebud,Red Hill and Mornington Art Shows. He has also sold works to USA,NSW and NewZealand via his google website, ronmorgangallery. \r\nIn 2011 he won the Best Contemporary in Show Award at the Brighton Art Show. |
