ARTIST BIO

Highly motivated arts professional skilled in paintings and multimedia designing . Growing up in India, my artwork is influenced by many childhood memories, academic learnings and vibrant cultural heritage of India. India's languages, religions, dance, music, arts & architecture, food and customs differs from place to place within the country. And there is always too much to explore and experiment when it comes to various art forms.

I am a self-driven artist who loves learning from art classes & online workshops, reading various art literature/books of other artists to enhance my skillset. Always had the passion to learn & develop new artforms as I am a hobby artist and most of my paintings technique has developed intuitively over the years.a

Post secondary education I opted for Bachelors in Fine Arts to become a successful artist. Academic studies, learning various art forms, running workshops/exhibitions, motivated me to pursue and enhance my career further in Multimedia, when I came to Melbourne to study Master of Multimedia Technology. I am well versed in graphics/multimedia designing but always have been inclined to paintings involving various typical art forms/techniques.

I have worked as an Arts teacher overseas, for students from grade 1 - grade 8 teaching various arts & crafts as per the academic curriculum. Have been portraying my artwork in various art exhibitions and also running community services for underprivileged children who also had passion for art but couldn't go to school or join any art classes.

I am currently residing in Melbourne, a city which itself is famous from its history, arts and architecture. It’s a new beginning for me here at Gallery 247, I hope to learn, enhance, share and sell a lot of artwork. Thanks.
